Would this help a 7-year-old?

The game in the Backyard League Mobile App are made to be fun and motivational for young and old players. Playing catch as a live game with commentary, sound effects and getting a score after each round is very motivational and engaging. What we have seen is that it quickly builds more confidence in throwing and catching in young players. More focus and intensity in every round. One of the most important things when playing together with our kids is to look at the results after each game and pick one topic to try to improve.
