Did you get a new phone?
Did you delete the app and re-installed it?
In such cases, your player profile was deleted from your phone, and it "starts fresh". Sometimes you may want to start fresh, however, sometimes you want your profile back.
Your profile is stored in the ball
The ball carries your profile. So it is possible to recover it if you want it back.
Here is a step-by-step description of how to do this.
iOS: In the phone's Settings, find Backyard League, and go into its settings. Turn ON the switch "User management on next start".
Android: In the phone's Settings, enter "Apps and notifications", find Backyard League, then go into "Permissions" and then "Additional permissions". Turn ON the switch "User management on next start".
Now, after you have activated the "User management on next start" open the Backyard League app. The app opens in "User management mode". Press "Yes" to continue.
On the next page, choose "Transfer Profile".
Next the app is looking for the ball. Press the ball button once to wake it up. Wait for the app to recognize the ball. Press "Next" when ball was found to continue.
Now, press and hold the ball button for 5 seconds to look up user profiles from the ball.
Next, select the profile from the list (normally only 1 profile in the list), and press "Transfer" to transfer the profile to the phone.
Android: you must turn OFF the switch "User management on next start" in your phone's Settings before you can start the app.
